Acording to Wikipedia turban is an English word used to refer to several sorts of headwear. A commonly used synonym is a Pagri, the Indian word for turban. Turbans are a popular form of headgear worn in the Middle East, North Africa and Southwest Asia. They are designed to help keep the user cool in hot desert environments such as the Sahara.People first began to wear turbans in the Sudan.
In our days you can find turbans everywhere from a flea market or vintage shop to a Gucci,Prada store.
Honestly for years i didn't like them but i was only a little child...I think i first found them charming when i saw Aladin on his magic carpet wear a purple one...
Now i want a red,blue,black and grey one...:/Hopefully i'll find them:)
