I don't want to say it,but i have to...."i've told you so":) .
I always liked clothes with kimono touch and i've always admired the chinese girls with the long black hair and the white skin:)
At the european runways i think we first saw some of the east charm from John Galliano(Dior 2008haute couture) and this season from Haider Ackerman and then from Marc Jacobs(Louis Vouitton) and now comes Givenchyand Armani both with a wonderful collection!
Of course i believe that Anna Dello Russo(editor in chif of Vogue-Japan) helped "a little"...

Kristen Stewart &Yves Saint Laurent I've always wanted to know the meaning of an art piece, what it supposed to say to me, if it has any secrets to reveal me...many years after i simple understood that art has the meaning we want/need to have, the personal "explenation"we all give for every single piece of art:/
So as i was searching at style.com i found out about Richard Philips. He was born in Massachusetts and lives and works in New York. Phillips is known for his large-scale glossy hyper-realistic paintings, recalling the pictorial style magazines from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s and reflecting traditions of popular image culture. His paintings represent close-up portraits, of women from fashion and soft porno magazines, but also persons from the fields of pop music and politics. He says "My pictures involve a kind of wasted beauty - that's always been a thread in my work."
Now about his last art exhibition he said that he tried to set up a pause-space(with his paintings)to reflect the relationship between celebrities and luxury brands :)
