Alexander McQueen,the artist.

Alexander (Lee) McQueen has been described as the ‘Rebel King of British Fashion‘, the ‘Bad Boy of British Fashion’ and a ‘visionary and designer extraordinaire’.  “Brilliant. Offensive. Beautiful. Outrageous.”. These are just a few of the words used in the phenomenaldocumentary ‘McQueen & I’. A biopic documenting Lee’s journey from his East End London background, discussing his days as a Saville Row Tailor on Mayfair at the ripe age of 16. The message from start to finish was clear, Lee McQueen was one of a kind. He evolved,he adapted,he expanded and he truly aligned fashion, culture and art in its most collaborative joining this generation has ever seen. He was controversial and it was clear people enjoyed the elements of surprise, adventure and individuality he brought to the table.
Alexander you are truly,deeply missed.
