DIOR a/w'15

The last Dior fashion show was held in the courtyard of the Louvre at god-knows-what-expense.Raf Simons sent out a pink coat ,‘his’ pink coat, in the palest blush, buttonless, drop-shouldered and long.  It was more than a reminder of the moment he became one of the greatest womenswear designers of his generation. That pink coat sparked a zillion copies, his Jil Sander pink coat.it’s harder to spot a Dior copy,Raf’s signature for the house is strong but you don’t see other designers emulating it.
Well that's certainly not because Simons isn’t doing a great job at Dior...
This season, he abstract animal prints rendered in intarsia-wool coats, stretchy fabric, masculine tailoring, with oversized blazers and coats in raw, felted wool and dense tweeds collided with slashed harness dresses, beneath them second-skin jacquard body suits worn with beautiful long, vinyl boots.
Let's take a look ppl!
Take care!

Margiela f/w'15 by Galliano

We have new Galliano for Margiela Fall'15.Mmmmmm...It's true  Galliano was one of my first fashion"affairs" the first was Lee McQueen and the third Haider Ackermann, when Lee left the building i focused on Galliano. What a great talent he is,he can transform anything into pure art.I have truly missed him the past 4 years...anyway now that the King is back everything is ok,my faith in the vision of fashion industry has been restored.
Galliano showed his second collection for Margiela fall 2015 at London's fashion week and that's what
i 've seen...
Galliano played with knitwear, a key part of the Margiela vocabulary, he used a fur wig (Margiela loved to use recycled fur in this way) there were shoes covered in feathers. While Margiela would often cover his models' faces with a scarf (so they didn't distract from the clothes)
Galliano painted his girls faces .
As i have read at the end of the show, the audience clapped, and then they clapped some more, in the hope that Galliano would come out, dressed in his white coat (the uniform of the Margiela atelier) and take a bow. But he did not appear at the end of the catwalk. Martin Margiela himself never appeared and his anonymity became his signature. Perhaps if Galliano continues to remove himself from the limelight and lets the clothes do the talking.
Let's take a look....
Take care ppl!
