La Perla Atelier Couture Spring 2015

Lingerie and sportswear are rarely shown together, and their appearance on the couture runway courtesy of La Perla
Hooded silk satin robes and basketball shorts with appliquéd frastaglio lace made with real gold thread had a sporty spin reminiscent of boxer’s garb, and certainly packed a punch.
The Italian brand, courtesy of creative director Emiliano Rinaldi, paraded what it termed “inside/out” looks for the made-to-order La Perla Atelier Collection, an expansion on its first such creations that were launched for the brand’s 60th anniversary last year.
N.Campbell(who closed the show) said “I am honored. I am 44 years old, I am not 20 years old, like these girls.”

10 Years After-The Carrie Bradshaw Effect!

Ten years have passed since the final episode of Sex & the City, but our dreams are still haunted by Carrie Bradshaw's iconic New York City style.
No matter how much time passes, the clothes worn on the show manage to stay relevant to how women all over the world chose to dress until today.
Field managed to create a fashion icon close to the feeling of -"Whatever she's wearing has to be completely orginal to last in time."- That's why Field convinced producers to go with the-tulle tutu skirt and tank top-for the iconic opening scene.
SATC costume designer,Field, theorizes that Carrie's look encompassed the whole NY's feeling, from uptown and downtown Manhattan to the boroughs surrounding the city.
Let's have a look to some of the iconic Bradshaw's looks!
